Among all the continents, Asia stands out when it comes to travelling and the best place to harbor is Cambodia the intoxicating land that charms the traveler and embodies peace and serenity that descends deep down and leaves an indelible mark that does not fade away with time.

Cambodia has a rich history that is enchanting and can be visited and witnessed at the fabled and mesmerizing temples of Angkor, whose grandeur speaks volumes about its heritage. The Angkor archeological park is the best place to see the remains of the Khmer civilization.

There are various places to explore one of which is the Tonle Sap Lake; this huge lake has floating villages and Southeast Asia’s bird sanctuary. Another hot destination is the Angkor WAT listed in the world wonder list. The architectural excellence of this monument is unmatched and speaks for itself. It was constructed by King Suryavarnam II and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu the Hindu God. It’s a masterpiece.

Bayon, plastered superhuman faces are a must visit. Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei is beautiful Angkorian monuments worth a visit away from the din of the city. Koh Ker, Preah Vihear, is beautifully situated atop a mountain above Thai Border. Siem Reap, the premium tourist destination town is a few of the top visiting sites in Cambodia. The Cardamom Mountains provide an untouched scenic view showcasing its remarkable and stunning biodiversity.
The best time to visit Cambodia is between Month November to February although it is warm all year long yet the seasons are divided into warm and cold. The rainy season may be a little messy, but also a good time as the place is the lush yet peaceful during July to October.

The shop alcoholics can collect their souvenirs from soft silk to beat-hued wood and stone carving jewelry, lacquer ware and decorative home articles and artifacts. Cycling has its charm as the terrain is best suited for trekking, rock climbing or a casual stroll amongst the mountains and historical monuments that speak of the rich past and peaceful present.
