Philippine low cost airline Cebu Pacific (CEB) has extended the validity of its booking options to December 31, 2020 for the passengers travelling with the airline, in a bid to provide more flexibility amid the critical situations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Candice Iyog, CEB VP for marketing & customer experience, has said in his statement, “We continuously listen to our passengers in order to address their concerns and to review and improve our processes in a timely manner. As such, we are pleased to share that we have extended our options to cover flights until end of this year to give our passengers more flexibility when it comes to scheduling their travels.”

The Travel Fund is now valid for two years and can be used to book flights up to 12 months in advance, provided that the transactions are completed before the fund expires. This means that customers can use their travel funds to book travel before 2023.

The credit of the virtual wallet represents the entire cost of the previously purchased ticket, which can be used not only for flights, but also for the purchase of ancillaries such as baggage allowance and seat selection.

Moreover, passengers will be allow making unlimited rebooking of the flights, without any rebooking or change charges. Those who wish to postpone their travel plans can choose to rebook their tickets as many times as possible, taking into account the turbulent nature of the situation so that passengers can better manage their plans. If applicable, a minimum fare difference may be applied.

Passengers can deposit the entire cost of the ticket into the travel fund with a validity period of two years or a full refund. They can also opt for unlimited rebooking of the ticket if the new travel date is within 90 days, the rebooking fee and the difference in the fare will be waived.

Passengers are encouraged to choose their options and conveniently manage bookings online through the “Manage Booking” portal on the Cebu Pacific official website (www.cebupacificair.com). Simply log in to their Getgo account if applicable or enter the booking reference to access the booking online and easily make the required changes. The reservation can be modified two (2) hours before the flight departure.
