Sulaiman Bin Suip, Director Tourism Malaysia, New Delhi

Mr Sulaiman Bin Suip, Director Tourism Malaysia, New Delhi through his social media post paid gratitude to tourism partners in India and thanked them for their continued support.

His message to the tourism partners…

Dear Esteemed Partners,

Over the last few months, we have all been inundated with what is happening all around the world on covid-19. We are facing unprecedented amounts of uncertainty. Our hearts go out to everyone who’s been impacted by the situation, either directly or indirectly.

We wish that you stay safe and hope that we all emerge out of the current situation strong and healthy.

Malaysia has been recognized as one of the most successful countries in the world in handling and controlling the COVID-19 pandemic. The recovery rate of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia is 97.8% which is among the highest in the ASEAN region.

I also wanted to apprise you on the launch of “Clean & Safe Malaysia” certification programme, the first ever industry-wide hygiene and safety label in the country, in a bid to restore tourist confidence shaken by the Covid-19 pandemic.

We continue to take all the necessary precautions and safety measures in all areas including entry points and it is only a matter of time before international travel will resume.

In the meantime, we encourage you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep yourself updated with the latest from the bustling and towering cityscape of Kuala Lumpur, warm white sandy beaches of Langkawi, cool highlands of Genting, beautiful rainforests and the delectable cuisine of Malaysia!

Finally, we are grateful to each of our partners and want to thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely,

(Mr Sulaiman Bin Suip)
