Dream Cruises to Restart Services from November 6, 2020

Genting Cruise Lines has confirmed that the Dream Cruises will restart services from November 6, 2020 in Singapore with World Dream making its homeport debut. The World Dream will also be the latest built cruise ship to homeport in Singapore, offering a series of brands to provide Singapore residents with a new 2-night and 3-night “Super Seacation” experiences the during school and year-end holidays.

Dream Cruises worked closely with the Singapore government to obtain approval from the local authorities. After getting approval, Dream Cruises started a pilot program in accordance with the company’s strict and complete health and safety measures.

Dream Cruises has re-inspected and improved all its health, hygiene and operating procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone in the fleet and comply with the strict guidelines of local authorities. The strict guidelines include strict health screening procedures before boarding, disembarkation and social distancing measures on board, disinfection and sanitization of cabins, crew member quarters, public areas and recreational facilities, safe food and beverages serving procedures.

Mr. Michael Goh, President of Dream Cruises, has said, “Due to the invaluable support and confidence of the Singapore authorities in Genting Cruise Lines, the inaugural homeport deployment of World Dream in Singapore marks another important milestone in the recovery process post COVID-19 for the local cruise tourism industry.”

“Genting Cruise Lines is proud to continue its long and productive relationship with Singapore since 1993. We are confident that the resumption of operations in Singapore will further contribute and benefit the various local supply and related network chains of the cruise tourism sector,” he added.
