Vietnam Tourism Conducts Road Show at New Delhi

Vietnam Tourism Conducts Road Show at New Delhi

Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in association with Embassy of The S.R. of Vietnam to India conducted road show in New Delhi on Tuesday, 24th March 2015. In an effort to establish a closer partnership between the Indian travel industry and the Vietnamese travel trade a Buyers-meet-Sellers session was also conducted.

The Vietnam trade delegation comprised of 10 top tour operators from Vietnam viz Saigon Tourist Travel Service Company, Anh Duong VN Travel, Benth Anh Tourist, Vitours Da Nang, Dinh Anh International Travel, HG Travel, Hanoi Red Tours Joint Stock Company, Focus Travel, Viet Charm Tour JSC and Thang Long GTC Co. Ltd.

A large section of Indian Tour Operators attended the road show and interacted with Vietnam trade delegation. “Vietnam has enormous potential as far as Indian outbound tourists are concerned due to its proximity, wide range of hotels ranging from budget to deluxe and luxury resorts and compatible cultural ties between the two countries” says Mr Sudhir Tuli from Southern Travels.

Mr NGUYEN Van Tuan, Chairman – Vietnam National Administration of Tourism addressed the august gathering and emphasised to various initiatives undertaken by the Government of Vietnam to promote tourism to Vietnam.

Mr B Suman, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India who was distinguished guest on the occasion was also very optimistic about the possibilities for increasing the bilateral tourism. He mentioned of various initiatives including development of Buddhist and other pilgrimage circuits by Ministry of Tourism.

Ambassador of Vietnam to India, H.E. Ton Sinh Thanh was also present during the evening and interacted with Indian tour operators.
